    Endpoint Coordinator (X8) Rochester, MN.

    Hi Team,

    Mayo Clinic is looking for eight (8X) Endpoint Coordinator – IT for 6+ month contract onsite in Rochester Minnesota.

    Work Location: Ozmum Center, 515 2nd St SW, MN-MN111 Rochester, MN 55902

    Start Date:       04/25/2022       

    Est. End Date: 10/25/2022

    Schedule Notes: *****3-11:30 pm M-F.*** potential for weekend hours as well.

    This project will likely extend to nights and weekend hours as we progress so we need flexibility from the contractors. The other thing to mention is the contractors could be asked to travel to other MCHS sites in their region. (So the Eau Claire contractor may be asked to go Bloomer or Menominee for a day or more…)

    Pay Rate: $17-$22hr W2

    Position Overview:

     Endpoint Specialists act as the primary customer liaison for all moves, adds and change requests to the workstation environment at Mayo Clinic. Responsibilities include coordinating the ordering, configuration, installation, and removal of all computers, printers, copiers, and related peripheral equipment on Mayo Clinic campuses. Work directly with customers to evaluate needs pertaining to new requests for services; preferred configuration of devices; inquiries on products and orders; and/or returns for product that has been ordered, but no longer needed. Gather, document, and evaluate specific customer requirements in order to ensure product order is accurate, complete, and will support the customer’s needs. Acting on behalf of the customer, order electronic equipment within Lawson, identify and troubleshoot any ordering issues, and engage senior work unit personnel and / or Supply Chain Management staff to resolve any issues, keeping the customer up to date on order status. Excellent interpersonal communication and effective time management skills in order to deliver outstanding customer service in a team-based environment. Project management proficiencies of effectively evaluating process improvement opportunities in regard to equipment order lifecycle; thorough documentation of work; and the ability to document and communicate concepts and procedures such as hardware and software requirements, purchase requisition information, moves/adds/changes coordination/scheduling, and other various workflows in a clear, concise, easy-to-understand manner for a large and diverse customer base.

    Education:         

    Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: High School / GED with 4 years of experience in project coordination, order fulfillment, or customer service role, OR Associate's degree with 2 years of experience in project coordination, order fulfillment, or customer service role. Or Bachelor’s degree and excellent computer troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
