UC San Diego Health is looking for an EPIC Ambulatory Trainer contract for20 Weeks to Start Asap.
Shift: Day M-F, 8 hours each day; 8am PST start time; 100% Remote
Pay Range: $60hr W2

END DATE/CONTRACT LENGTH: 4/29/2022
Candidate will be expected to complete typical compliance for remote workers for health care systems upon hire (including providing updated physical, 7-year background check with aliases cleared, 10-panel drug screen, etc.) in order to meet UC San Diego Health HR and Joint Commission standards.
DESCRIPTION: A seasoned trainer to provide user training and support, update curriculum, develop lesson plans, and validate training environment build for clinical users using primarily the EpicCare Ambulatory application as well as other clinical applications. A successful candidate will be well-versed in clinical workflows and tools used in the clinical application workflows.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s Degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training (relevant experience in end user training of Epic Ambulatory, MyChart and clinical reporting applications).
Experience as an instructional designer, principal or credentialed trainer for the EpicCare Ambulatory application. Experience and proven success in information systems implementation, development and support within a large-scale healthcare organization. Ability to provide expert consultative guidance and direction on various workflows affecting clinical care processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to train in an in-class or virtual environment. Ability to effectively utilize system tools to meet functionality needs of users.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Epic certified or proficient in EpicCare Ambulatory and/or MyChart Epic certified as a Principal Trainer and Training Environment Build.
Familiar with Epic Community Connect end user training methodology. Experience in EMR workflow for all clinic roles. Demonstrate ability to collaborate with customers and team.
