Hoag seeking (3X) Provider Relations Representative 3 months to start asap Onsite with potential for Temp 2 Hire for 1 of the openings based on performance.

Minimum of two (2) plus years' managed care Provider Relations experience.
Specific experience advising physicians regarding complex performance deficiency or policy violation issues including high-risk cases requiring investigations performed under attorney-client privilege
Experience leading re-orgs, org alignment, physician practice acquisitions, and workforce planning efforts
Experience managing complex and cross functional initiatives, processes, or projects
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Visio
Prefer a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field with hospital operations experience
Licenses Required-Current CA driver’s license for local travel
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience
The Provider Relations Representative functions as a liaison among the contracted physician/specialist offices and Hoag Clinic. This position provides on-going communication, in-service, orientation, and direction to these contracted provider offices.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Provider Relations Representative fosters a close working relationship with assigned physician offices and visits assigned offices routinely. Identifies concerns/issues and opportunities for improvement, researches and resolves issues for provider offices, and provides accurate and timely answers. Assists provider offices in ensuring compliance with Hoag Physician Partners and Health Plans. In-services new and established physician offices on policies and procedures of Hoag Clinic, Hoag Hospital and Health Plans. Provides on-going education to assigned offices regarding such policies and procedures. Educates physician offices on Point of Care Tools (e.g., Cozeva and EpicCare Link). Documents all site visits and provider issues for trending and reporting. Acts as a liaison with various Hoag Departments and physician offices and Health Plans to resolve provider issues and facilitate notifications. Conducts physician office staff meetings and other network meetings as needed. Assists with business development as assigned.
Support our HPP practices and ancillary providers with system login, as well as a significant amount of administrative work with collecting paperwork, provisioning access as well as application support with access. Most of this is desk and phone based.
