Must be local and open to getting the Covid Vaccine
Pay Rate: $18-$20hr W2
Duration: 6+ months, (Temp to Hire)
The manager wants to make sure that candidates can truly trouble shoot over the phone and also have had more of a call center background as opposed to a hardware/ networking background. Although hardware and desktop support techs have the knowledge, some of them may have a hard time transition to the call center type of environment or going through the step of trouble shooting over the phone.

Serves as first point of contact for computer system related questions and/or problems over a variety of platforms and applications. Responsibilities include maintaining a courteous and professional manner during all telephone, email, and voice mail interactions with customers, accurately and completely documents customer requests and takes appropriate steps to resolve the problem. Fosters teamwork, collaboration, and communication among the staff. Effectively utilizes all resources to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

NUMBER OF KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: 6
MINIMUM REQUIRED: High School diploma/GED. Six months telephone Help Desk experience or experience assisting customers in resolving computer problems.
Must maintain composure and flexibility in a highly unstructured environment.
Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to remain professional, composed, and analytical with customers under trying circumstances.
Ability to meet minimum productivity and performance standards after first 2 months.
Ability to quickly learn new programs and technologies. Ability to work independently, with minimal direction.
