Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst will design, build, test, implement, and maintain the Epic Professional Billing application in support of the Community Care Ambulatory Expansion program.
Involves design, building, testing, and implementation and maintenance of revenue cycle application systems. Provides support to revenue cycle users through knowledge of revenue cycle processes, workflows, and revenue cycle standards, when adapting software to meet their needs. Works with revenue cycle operational users to understand billing requirements.
Prepares detailed specs encompassing revenue cycle processes, information flow, risk and impact analysis. Will provide customer service, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Applies skills as a seasoned revenue cycle applications analyst to projects of medium size at all levels of complexity, or portions of large projects.
A Bachelor's Degree in healthcare information technology, computer science, or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
Three (3+) or more years of relevant experience i.e. design, building, testing, and implementation and maintenance of revenue cycle application systems.
Demonstrated ability to provide expert consultative guidance and direction on change initiatives affecting revenue cycle processes.
Proven ability in workflow and data analysis and design techniques, including needs assessment, specification development, quantitative methods, planning and gap analysis.
Ability to effectively utilize system tools to meet functionality needs of users.
Ability to plan and organize day-to-day activities along with short and long-term projects; in-depth knowledge of organizational and project planning processes and ability to produce and maintain high quality planning documents.
