Jessica Davis, Associate Editor at Healthcare IT News recently published Chad Eckes’ strategy at Wake Forest health in order to prevent the hospital’s Epic EHR rollout from an ongoing financial drainage.
The article, which can be fully read here explains the struggle stemmed from the Wake’s own IT department and how many broken projects resulted in incomplete use of Epic systems. All of the missing links combined made for continuous losses when attempts to amend what was broken or missing occurred.
